Washington Watchmakers - Clockmakers Association

About the Washington Watchmakers - Clockmakers Association

Charter: The WWCA exists to serve watchmakers and clockmakers throughout Washington and the Pacific Northwest. We are an all-volunteer organization and our strength derives from the diversity, knowledge and experience of our members. Our goals are:

  • To provide a source for continuing horological education, including bench courses and the dissemination of manufacturer's technical information.
  • To facilitate AWCI certification-related training.
  • To provide a network for the sharing of horological problems and their solutions.
  • To represent Washington watchmakers and clockmakers to AWCI National, the industry, and the public.
  • To have fun as we advance our learning in the horological arts.

Membership: WWCA membership is open to all those interested in clock and/or watch repair. We are a non-profit organization. As we are an affiliate chapter of the American Watchmakers-Clockmakers Institute, membership in AWCI is encouraged, but not required, for membership in WWCA.

Student Dues: Membership is free to students enrolled in an accredited watch or clock repair program if you are a member of the AWCI National Organization. Students who are not members of AWCI pay just $10 per year for membership in WWCA.
